Summary

Ye Olde Taxidermee Shoppee – Spool tower Kickstarter Sample files - STL

Please see our blog post and short story for more information on the complete set and how to get your grubby little hands on this modular construction system.

Digital Taxidermy has an extreme dislike for waste, to combat this we took the biggest problem with 3D printing and made it into the foundation of your collection. These spool towers take the structure provided by old spools and we provide you with facades that are designed to print with less than 10% (100g) of filament to make an entire layer.

We have incorporated the design ideas from our past terrain and construction kit experiments to make an interconnected hive of platforms and towers to enhance your gaming experience.

This file pack contains samples for our spool tower Kickstarter, they should give you everything you need to make a single layer of a spool tower designed to be the outside of our taxidermy outlet in a fantasy setting.

Please do download and try these out, we would love to hear your feedback. If you are so inclined then hop over to our Facebook group for The Digital Taxidermists and show us how you got on with them.

This STL pack is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height

Supports are not needed for this model.

This set has a fantasy theme but the Kickstarter contains 3D models that span a wide range of styles and settings including fantasy, industrial, Sci-Fi and Gothic. We hope to have most settings covered and allow you to make a varied backdrop for your minis and to clutter up you gaming table with large multi-level playable structures.

Oh and did I mention lighting, these file come with versions that will allow you to add lights as well, most of the panels in the Kickstarter will have options to add. Small LED light strings inside them.

Some of the images supplied are computer generated and are for reference. They are images of the files that will be 3D printed.
