The file 'Spool Holder With Bowden Extruder Carriege Mount For Prusa I3 Acrylic Body 3D Printer Model' is (STL,stl) file type, size is 22.4KB.
---Update---
Redesigned extruder carriage to the better looking one. Haven't tried new design yet! :)
Recently, I upgraded my Prusa i3 printer with a E3D V6 genuine hot end (bowden) and a proximity sensor for bed leveling. The main problem was that, there was no place to mount a bowden extruder on my 3D printer without drilling holes into acrylic sheets. Drilling those sometimes gets risky, because acrylic body can crack in that place and make a huge "head hurt". So in order to avoid any risk of cracking I decided to design a spool holder with bowden extruder mount on it. I hope you like it! :)
Parts are still in beta, later I will redesign extruder holder into something nicer and thiner.
I recommend to print those parts in ABS.
PLA should also work just fine.
Things you will need:
2X M5 rods approximately 220mm (depends on your Prusa acrylic body);
2x M3x25mm screws
2x M3 nuts
Compact Bowden Extruder by TECH2C (thing:767951)
