XL Version for the BIG spools!
Adjustable roller will accept up to a 5KG spool and down to a 1KG spool.

Easy to print and assemble

--------HARDWARE---------

1/2" PVC Pipe for roller - 164-164.5mm long - x2
608 "Skate" Bearings - x4
3/16" (8mm) x 1" (25mm) Wood Dowel - x4
Masking Tape
Glue (super glue, gloop, epoxy, whatever works)
10mm Non-Skid Self Adhesive Silicone or Rubber Pads - x4

Sides - 1 of each
Ends
Roller Endcap

--------TOOLS-------

Saw to cut PVC (must be cut as square as possible)
Saw to cut Wooden Dowel
*Fine tooth hobby saw will work well for both the above
X-acto or similar hobby knife

--------TIPS / INFO--------

PRINTING:
Print settings (recommended min. w/ 0.4mm nozzle) - PLA - 3 walls, 4 bottom, 4 top, 20% infill.
Acetone and paper towel will quickly and easily clean up the PVC pipe parts.
The ends of the PVC pipe need to be cut as squarely as possible to ensure smooth rolling.
Two layers of masking tape on the flat side of the roller endcap act as a shim for the bearing (see photo).
You may or may not need to glue the sides to the end pieces depending on fitment… I preferred to glue them wanting a permanent joint.
