The file 'Spool Holder For Better (compact/off Desk) Placement Of Filament On Cocoon/Wanhao I3 3D Printer Model' is (stl,step) file type, size is 355.8KB.
Basically the idea is it hooks on the frame placing the spool in TOP LHS (as you look at the touch screen), but the way its designed it should go anywhere you like along the top bar/brace of the frame.
Its got grooves so it can straddle the screw heads.
Its "light" to reduce material as much as possible, while still being strong enough to hold a 1kg reel easily.
I've included STEP file so if you want to make the "walls" thicker you could, but it works pretty good so far.
in the TOP LEFT position the spool line is in a "relaxed" position, and so you get less tension and less breakage on the filament if its paused for a long time (eg: overnight) and I find less "wacky unravelling" of the filament in some situations.
