Summary

I had all my spools in a "dry box" with a shaft through the center and the filament coming out through a hole to the extruder. Worked fine but each time I wanted to change a spool, I had to pull the shaft out of all the spools, and then put them all back on the shaft.
I wanted a holder that would take multiple spools, and allow me to take one out without disturbing the others.
This is a very simple design but does the trick using material available from the local hardware store.
20mm x 20mm 90 degree angle aluminum
5mm bolts
Standard ball bearings (5mm id).
The collars are just to stand the bearings off the sides to ensure they don't drag, and the gaps are not large enough for cardboard spools to go down.
I made them "double sided" and put bearings on each side, and put two bearings to allow for any width variations. The dividers can slide on the angle Aluminum to adjust to different width spools from different manufacturers.
