The file 'Spiral Wineglass-holder 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 149.8KB.
A spiral wineglass holder for your kitchen or dinner table.
Print 6 of the wineglass arms and snap them together, rotated at 60 degree intervals. There are long marker lines every 60 degrees on the outside of the tube to help get the orientation right. If you wish to try different rotations, there are also short tics at 45 degree increments. If your glasses are heavy you may wish to hot-glue the arm segments together to make the stack more rigid.
The pedestal snaps into the base and the arm assembly snaps into the pedestal. The pedestal is sized so that you can store a wine bottle inside. If desired, you can top off the assembly with something interesting by hot-gluing it to one of the optional top-mount pieces. I've used both chrome cheese platters and musical Christmas snowman globes, but the possibilities are endless.
I have also tried multi-height stack assemblies holding 12 or even 18 glasses spiraling up through two or 3 rotations. The tall stacks look pretty cool and can store multiple wine bottles, but might be better on a low side table or the floor rather than a dinner table. You can also get an interesting effect by printing the glass-holder arms in different colors. I have done alternating red and green for Christmas, but for patriotic days you could try red-white-blue (or French tricolors, etc per your nationality). Orange and black would be good for fall parties.
