A spiral vase and a cup with similar shape. The smaller piece was made as a test piece before printing out the bigger vase. It looks nice next to the vase so I added it.
I used a grey vase (printed with PLA) already one week filled with water and flowers and it survived. The foto shows the first print after one week usage.
Print with the setting spiral vase with only a single continous layer.
The blue vase has still some small holes in the bottom layers that are to be tightened. So printing and examining the bottom layer well is important. The small cup is nice and usefull for tuning the print settings.
I added an example for a transport case also printed with PLA in 3D (Print massive, NOT with the spiral vase setting :-) ). This case provides a secure shelter for the vase. The inside parts of the cover are to be carefully filed so that it fits securely on the case. I do not regard this case to be beautiful, but it did his job successfully.
