Additional materials required:

  • Elastic band for strap
  • Foam for additional comfort on insole (optional)

Printing instructions:

  1. Print left and right half of shoe with dowels/holes face down on the bed with supports.
  2. Print the top of the shoe by rotating the sole 90 degrees and printing it on its side with supports.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. After the print is finished, remove all supports.
  2. The left and right portion of the shoe will snap together via the dowels.
  3. Once the two halves are connected, the dowel in the top piece will snap into the hole in the bottom.
  4. Pull elastic band through the cutout at the front of the shoe, and cut at an appropriate length for the band to hold your foot tightly.
  5. Once cut, pull the elastic band through the cutout again, and stitch (or staple or glue) the ends of the band together.
  6. Optional: Trace the cutout of the top piece onto a sheet of foam, cutout and use E600 to glue to the insole of the shoe.
