I use a 9 m glass-fiber telescope fishing rod – in my case its a "Rumpol" 9 m long – as a mount for a wire-antenna (T2LT).
There is a lid on the downside that was broken. I made this as a replacement - Diameter of the inner thread is about 42 mm.
I normally use two straps to mount it at a post or so.
Then I had an idea: I made the bottom of the new lid more sturdy and added a slot for a hex-head bolt (M6, 60 mm long in my case - a bit longer would be good).
With this spike in the ground, the bottom of the rod can´t slip and only one strap-point is needed for a mount when out in the field for a DX-Call. I use the trailer hitch of my car or the bumper.
But it does even work with a bicyle as a stand.
UPDATE: I added a version for an Spiderbeam 10m Fibre Glass Pole.
UPDATE: Have a look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6561270
There I added rings fpr guy-lines and rings to prevent the poles from collapsing on windy days
Use with caution - especially on a windy day!
