The Spector Gadget Fishing Pole is an attachment for the Python Prosthetic hand by Aaron Brown of Axislab 3D.

I remember many a day going out with my father to go fishing at a local pond and wanted to design a project that could help disabled kids to enjoy the sport with their parents too.
The idea here is to build a simple fishing pole that can be attached to the Python Prosthetic hand with minimal non-printed parts. I've included an .PDF file for the Assembly Instructions which includes a detailed Bill Of Materials.
One future enhancement that I have been thinking of is trying to add a means to keep the reel from being free wheeling (similar to perhaps how a come-a-long has a gear that turns and a spring loaded catch). Maybe the community has other better ideas on that mechanism? Thanks.
