Summary

Here is my Speaker connector block with integrated PAM8403 amplifier which runs off 5V USB power. Idea here is to get the smallest 8 Ohm speaker amplifier with standard components. PAM8403 and connector block are available on Ebay. The USB cable and 3.5mm plug were from scrap cables. Pin out of PAM8403 PCB can be found for wiring.

Screws required are 2 X coarse threaded countersink. If you do require M3 version change the model.

There is a facility to move the cables holes to the center rear - see openscad file.

NOTE: When powering PAM8403 from a phone battery charger (see pic) the power can drop out. I think this an issue with minimum load to the battery unit. Some work and some drop out.
