Spaetzle Press for use with the Thermomix
As a rod for the press can be used a 8mm beech round rod
As a recipe we have used the Spätzle recipe from the Cookidoo subscription
After the dough is prepared, the mixing bowl is rinsed and half filled with water.
Heat the water with the kettle function (TM6 only)
When the water is heated, mix function (15 min, 98°C, counterclockwise, speed 1)
Put on the press and fill with dough, press only 1cm at a time and then wait approx. 5-10s each time.
The pressing process should be completed in less than 5 min.
Strain the spaetzle
Now you can refine the spaetzle e.g. as a casserole or with bacon, roasted onions and a hearty alpine cheese, the way I like it best.
