Summary

This is a design for a Sovol SH01 Filament Dryer filament guide. I found when I tried to use this with my Ender 3 Pro I could not feed directly from the dryer box without it pulling the box sideways and inevitably breaking the filament or the dry box would fall over onto the ground. I decided to only utilize the filament roller on the left hand side of the dryer to feed into the machine. This design redirects the force on the filament over the bearing so that it easily pulls out of the dryer.

The filament dryer tower should be a snug friction fit, however, I would recommend adding a small piece of 3m double sided adhesive to both inside bottom legs to ensure the tower does not move. This should cause a very slight amount of bow to the legs and additional friction to the fit as well.

I already had 608 2RS ball bearings on hand so I designed this around them, you can order some for yourself here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XVFSZTF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I printed all pieces at one time, the orientation of the bolt is important to ensure that the M6 bolt included in the file stays together during use. Once the tower is up and on the dryer, friction fit the bearing inside the wheel and the spacer inside the inner race. When installing the bearing wheel onto the tower, ensure that the side with the lip to capture the bearing is on the outside. I don't believe this was truly necessary as the friction fit should be more than adequate, however, it gave me a bit of peace of mind to know that I captured the bearing from coming off externally in the event some strange failure happens with the wheel.

EDIT - The bearing spacer and bearing wheel have been updated, fit seems perfect at this point. Be sure you print the retaining side of the wheel down on the build plate so there is no elephants foot to deal with getting the bearing in the other side before you capture it

EDIT 2 - Included a file with the bearing spacer modeled into the bolt to save on parts needing to be printed, you need to print the bearing spacer included on the bolt or the bolt and spacer separately, not both
