I'm a big fan of using natural indentations in the model to make button holes out of, but in this particular case when it got down to around 20mm the holes were small even for thread. Included some 4 hole models to give a variety.
I recommend printing around .08 to maintain details, especially when getting to the smaller diameter buttons. Also recommend printing with about 30% infill or 3 walls to keep it structurally sound if you plan on using it for actual clothing. If it won't see much use you can certainly get by with less infill/fewer walls.
