Original design Sorting Hat (Harry Potter) by cerberus333. Please give love by liking the original design. Thank you cerberus333.
Well Harry Potter fans, now you can get into a sorting hat of your own...be first to get into the coin class.
It was a good model to make into a bank though in its current form it only handles dimes because of the diameter size at the neck-down at top of the hat, If you scale it up in your slicer I think it would take larger coins.
I've included a picture from spec from www.USMINT.gov
Scaling:guide (mm) coin diameters USD
The proof print was at x0.5 file scale that are pictured.
If,
dimes 17, penny 19, nickel 22, quarter 25, halfD 31, wholeD 27
Then,
x1.00 (17) for dime only
x1.25 (22.5) for dime, penny, nickel only
x1.50 (27) for dime, penny, nickel, quarter only
x1.75 (31.5) all coins
Multiply my original file size by one of the factors above for the coins you'd like in your bank.
Sorry for the math...designing does have its needed adaptations and opportunities for learning.
I'm looking forward to making more HP items soon.
