Summary

UPDATE:

7/22/19: Added movement tray for wolves and other large creatures. This one uses a smaller bottom as well but same size cap.
7/15/2019: Other pieces have been added to help complete the set of terrain pieces.

Swamp: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3749899
Death Pile: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3749906
Walls and Movement trays: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3679084

6/20/19: Added a more brick style of stone wall intact and broken.

6/18/2019: I added stone walls, both intact and broken. I have not test printed these yet. I suggest printing in more detail on the broken stones to help the stones on the ground pop. Working to complete the set with corpse pile, weirwoods and swamps. Taller hedges are available now too.

SUMMARY:

A set of terrain pieces modeled to work directly with the Song of Ice and Fire miniature game. These are great for many other applications as well. For speed I printed the spiked walls and defenses at a much higher resolution than I would have liked and didn't do any post processing to get rid of lines. If you are just looking at table distance a higher resolution is fine. I did print the bushes at a much higher resolution and I think those came out beautifully. The bases are sized to fit exactly over the flat pieces that come with the game. a .1 layer height on these might take a while but would be worth the time.

Supports: The only model that used supports was the spiked defenses. I set it for a pretty high threshhold so that I just got supports at the very center of each cross. Something like 80% overhang. If you do more supports it will be difficult to remove because of the nature of the model. If you do no supports you might end up with just a little bit of a mess but probably not too bad.

The Movement Trays: These are specific for Song of Ice and Fire, less application for other games at this time. You will need to print a bottom and cap for each 4x3(infantry) or 2x2(cavalry) frame. You will have to superglue the cap to the bottom piece with the frame inbetween, just put a bit of glue on the cap or in the hole in the bottom piece. Make sure you don't glue the frame to anything. That is meant to move freely. Make sure on your bottom piece you have the flat side down and the bumpy side up to utilize the track on the frame. These help to rotate your models on the center for easy pivoting movement. Short video of how they work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE7K5VkrEYw&feature=youtu.be

THANK YOU:

A huge thank you to others who's models I remixed to compile and make these for the game. My design skills are improving but having models to work with made these so much easier.
