I needed a solder fume extractor and a solder spool holder, so I decided to combine to combine the two and attach it to a desk mounted articulating arm. This station will mount to anything with a 1/4"-20 nut and bolt. Also, check out my FreeCAD tutorial where I show how to make this model:

You will need the following things to make this station:
-120mm fan (get one that's rated at least 40+ CFM)
-Small toggle switch
-12 volt power source

-1/2" Wooden Dowel Rod
1/4"-20 Nut
