This is the solder holder I'm using now. It holds two regular spools or one big one, along with the solder sucker, non-static tweezers, desoldering braid, and extra tips.
I designed this one after a fall to the floor broke the one I was using before. I think this one would be robust enough to survive, but I'm not planning to test it intentionally.
