The file 'Solar Finder, Adjustable With Dovetail Mount 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 454.8KB.
Print your own solar finder for your telescope! I made this for my telescope in preparation for the solar eclipse later this summer. This finder is adjustable since I knew a fixed one would not be centered properly on my scope. It will attach to any telescope with a dovetail finder-scope mount.
Printing Instructions:
I printed mine at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle. Other settings should work just fine. The main body should be printed in a clear plastic so the sun can easily penetrate the rear disk, and so the crosshairs of the rear disk are visible. The front plate should be printed in black or another dark color to maximize contrast on the rear plate.
Extra hardware required:
M3 locknut, washer(s), and screw
