The file 'SodaStream Bottle Drain – Must Have 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 62.3KB.
Why do you need this? I am so glad you asked!!
If you have a SodaStream machine and you do not have glass bottles, you have without question, encountered mold or a musty order inside your bottles at some point.
It is for a combination of reasons, but in the end, the bottle, when stored, should be without the cap on top and able to have air flow. If the bottle is upright, then dust or other things could settle inside the bottle. If it is upside down, you just need airflow.
I am so tired of problems with these bottles and with my model of the SS, they do not make glass.
With this little device, you can screw your bottle into it and set it upside down for storage and for draining (there is a tray that surrounds the cap for water collection). I have also added air flow cavities at the bottom so even if you screw the bottle in all the way, you have plenty of space for air to flow into the bottle.
