Summary

Transmogrify soda cans into cool-looking coin banks!

From aluminoids.com, this simple plastic cover turns your ordinary soda can into an intriguing and useful art display. It's an eye-catching tool for encouraging donations to your next fundraiser or for just collecting your spare change. It fits most U.S. coins and folded bills.

To apply it, first drain a soda can by popping a hidden hole in it -- leaving the top intact. Use wood screws, 1/8th inch pop-rivets, or superglue to lock the cover in place just a few millimeters below the outer rim of the can. Then use a pushpin to poke many, many holes all around the inner edges of the slot. Then use a knife tip around the inner edge to fully knock-out the coin-hole. The slot covers are dimensioned to fit 355 ML cans prevalent in the U.S. and Canada.
