This is a simple air lock that fits common soda bottles.
When homebrewing I would like to experiment a bit more. I wanted a way to be able to separate some of the beer into smaller batches that I can experiment with, for example to experiment with dry hopping, different yeasts, other addatives, different fermenting temperatures, etc.
To do just that I have created this airlock that can screw on top of regular soda bottles. I would recommend taking water bottles since they dont have any flavour in them (unless you are looking for a cola aged IPA or something like that ;) ).
I have printed this (see pictures, don't mind the quality as I apparently need to dial in my printer a bit) but I have not tested it yet at the moment.
Hope you can have fun and good results with it. Please let me know how it goes!
EDIT - current design needs some supports. I will adapt it later this week so it does not need it, and also to make it less prone to leaking.
Use a rubber washer in the bottom to ensure airtightness.
