The file 'Socket / Insert With Twistlock For 10W LED Panel Light For Lithophane Moonlamp 3D Printer Model' is (step, stl) file type, size is 448.6KB.
Hey there,
i've designed a small part for this particular 10W (warm & cool white) USB LED Light from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005006431132355.html
I used this construction as a socket for my 3D Printed moonlamp with a diameter of 16 cm. The outerpiece works as an Insert for the moonlamp. I just added the outerpiece to the stl of the moon in my slicer before finally slicing and printing the lamp.
The LED fits perfectly into the innerpiece and snaps right in, no need for glue. The cable fits thight and works as a strain relief for the cable. A perfect alternative to a threaded socket.
Can be printed without supports or any tweaking.
Diameter of the outerpart is 60mm so the hole in the moonlamp should be between 59,4 and 59,9 mm in diameter. You don't have to change the innerpiece.
UPDATE: I've added a version which is 62mm in diameter. So if the hole is bigger, you can use this file.
Hope someone finds this useful, Cheers!
