Summary

I decided to do a remix with the main wheel mounted on bearings and the ability to install some anti-rotation solution.
Each track consists of two halves, which are fastened together with 30 mm bolts. Also one bolt can be longer for mounting the anti-rotation arm.

Also for the hubs I am posting version 2 models with thicker walls.

Assembly requires:

  • 2 bearings 17x23x4mm
  • 5 bolts 30mm or larger (I used one 45mm bolt to mount the arm for my arrma gorgon)
    Before mounting, I drilled holes with a 3 mm drill bit in the p1 parts for bolt fixing.
    I took the rollers from the original model, also drilling a 3mm axle and secured with 35mm bolts and nuts.

The wheel is mounted directly on the axle (no hex). I made 2 versions of the wheel which I measured on arrma gogron and traxxas trx-4 models. Other models may need modifications, let me know about it.

So far I have designed the anti-rotation arm for Arrma Gorgon, but I plan to do it for traxxas trx-4 in the future.

For the tracks, I decided to make a remix based on the TPU print model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4180957
I changed the models a bit:
-Matt_Track_Tracks_rem1 - optimised for unsupported printing
-Matt_Track_Tracks_rem2 - larger tread for better grip
-Matt_Track_Tracks_rem3 - extra groove to make the track more flexible

I printed the tracks from TPU-a70 plastic.
