Summary

this is a tracked rc vehicle that can be used outdoors. since the gearbox is not enclosed i would mostly use it when it does not rain.

remarks:

  • i have a lot of unused drone motors laying around, hence i made a gear mechanism for such motors. the gearing ratio is around 32 : 1, hence the motors should have sufficient torque.
  • the coil springs have an outer diameter of 10 mm and a wire diameter of 0.8 mm.
