Summary

This offset block allows your Snapmaker 2.0 to regain the workspace lost from the addition of the Quick Swap and Bracing Kit. The addition of these two kits effectively reduce the workspace by around 2cmx2cm.

The block comes in two parts and is intentioned to be made from aluminum. The reason for this is so you only have to machine one side of the block.

The top block is bolted to the Z-Axis Linear Modules and braces. The top block is then bolted to the bottom bock, which is in turn bolted to the main support plate.

There will be some post processing needed. All 3.3mm holes will need to be tapped for an M4 Screw. Additionally the 4.5mm holes on the bottom of the top block will need to be drilled or machined out to over 7.5mm wide to a depth of 4mm in order to allow the M4 screws to seat below the surface.

I am currently machining these and this is still a work in progress. I will likely add other versions that are for those with only one of the Snapmaker kits installed.
