This spool holder is intended for mounting spools inside the enclosure of a Snapmaker 2.0 printer. The holder is assembled from the attached prints and the following additional components:
Two Spool_Holder prints are prepared by screwing two bearings to each with M4 screws self-tapped into the plastic. The two assemblies are then slid onto the shorter, horizontal 2020 beam oriented with the bearings on the outside.
If load sensing is not required, the shorter beam may be attached at right angles to the longer beam using the Jointing Brace.
If load sensing is required, one end of the load cell is attached to the Jointing Brace through the Spool Clip print, which is used to support the RJ11 breakout. The other end of the load cell is screwed to the shorter beam, parallel and under it. In this case, the horizontal beam needs to be trimmed to clear the rest of the load cell and the corner brace.
In either case, the vertical beam is attached to the roof beam of the enclosure using the Jointing Plate. The open ends of each beam may be capped off using two End Cap prints. The Spool Holder prints may be slid along the horizontal beam to position spools of various sizes.
