Smart ForFour 2005 3rd party radio bracket
When installing a 3rd party radio, you need a special frontplate, but with that frontplate only, the radio is just floating in air on the back.
The Original smart radio has 2 big blobs on the side, i designed a bracket that fits around a 3rd party radio and creates a support for the radio.
It is a first attempt , but it fittted well enough and so now i enjoyng my big screen mp5 radio in my smart.
It needs 6 screws flathead 2.6 x 12 , screw the sideplates so that the blobs are facing outwards :)
