The Smallrig 2087d camera cage is meant to be used with the Sony A7III series cameras. However, I have an A7S II camera and cages for these older cameras are hard to come by. I found that the 2087d cage works perfectly with my A7SII with the exception of the 3 point mounting system. 2 of the points don't quite fit. I designed two custom parts so that the right hole becomes a positioning pin and the left hole simply requires a longer m2.5 x 12mm screw with the included spacer. With these 2 additional parts, the cage becomes quite sturdy.
