This box is designed to be 100% out of the 3d printer and is to be assembeld with only a handfull of tools. The box itselft fits on an normal standard sized 3d printer and can be printed in a couple of hours. Given the Material i used (PETG) it was quiet flexible but did not break easily. The walls are pretty thin to save plastic. I tried to make the box still quiet sturdy and I will probably continue to improve it and add mor variations.
Optional:
The Box is assembled easily with some pliers and some 1.75mm Filament.
All the hinges are made with Filament that is forced inside with pressure.
Depending on your 3d printer it might fit better or worse. I tried to make up for both variants.
Some glue to prevent the filament from coming out again cant hurt but in the current versions i didnt need it.
I might add some longer or shorter latches to compensate for the different print settings.
The first closings and openings might be rough!
As most things in the world everything has a limit of torture it can withstand. This Box is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of that. I was still suprised at how much weight it can hold but this will depend with material and printer and I am eager to get some resuslts from some other people
