The file 'Small Bird House 3D Printer Model' is (stl,step,3mf) file type, size is 8.1MB.
This is a birdhouse for small birds that can be disassembled into three parts with threads.
The body is made of PLA and the roof is made of PETG.
I used "ISO Pipe Threads" for the threads.
The diameter of the entrance is set to 28 mm, which is a suitable size for a titmouse.
The size can be changed by using attached STEP file.
"Fuzzy Skin" option is used for printing.
I have uploaded CURA 3mf file for your reference.
The skin is set to be coarser than the standard Fuzzy Skin setting of CURA.
I used support blockers (*) to prevent Fuzzy Skin from covering thread. Roof does not need support blockers, but Fuzzy Skin should be set the same as other parts.
Add "Support Blocker" and Select Mesh Type for "Modify settings for overlaps".
Size: X,Y,Z=200,200,100
Position: X,Y,Z=0,0,0
Select "Cutting mesh" and add settings for "Fuzzy skin".
Fuzzy Skin: Y
Fuzzy Skin Outside Only: Y
Fussy Skin Thickness: 0.5mm
Fussy Skin Density: 1.25 1/mm
Fussy Skin Point Distance: 2.0mm
After the printing, water-based waterproofing paint was applied, but it may not be necessary.
