My mother knits socks as piggy banks, and she ran out of slit inserts.
The slit consists of 2 identical parts. To assemble the slit, the 2 parts need to be pressed together and twisted until the slits are aligned. With the given tolerances, they fit very tightly. No glue or screw is required.
The thing is a customizer, so you may change some dimensions easily. With the default parameters, the slit is big enough for big money ;-)
