Summary

Sliding tensioners to easily and quickly adjust the belt tension without having to unscrew the main tensioning tower.

The main body is fixed to the frame while the tension can be adjusted by the 20mm M3 screw in the middle and the spring is responsible for containing the rebound that can occur in the belt due to the movement of the machine.

The spring goes between the sliding tensioner and the cap working as a spring loaded screw (20mm M3).

The 5mm dowel pins must be shortened to 23.5mm.

Necessary hardware:

  • M3 8mm (cap head) x4
  • M3 20mm (cap head) x2
  • M5 12mm (cap head) x4
  • M3 heat inserts (L 4mm x OD 5mm) x6
  • M3 washers (7mm x 0.5mm) x6
  • M5 T-nut x4
  • Springs (diameter 8mm x long 15mm x thickness 0.9mm)
