I designed this for my 1984 Vanagon Westfalia. I made it fit the plastic cover for the operator mechanism in my camper which I am pretty sure is the original. I had made another for a friend but it did not fit his skylight so it seems these covers changed dimensions over time. I did give it to someone with a 1984 and it fit well. I would advise Printing parts A & B to check fit.
I printed all parts in ABS and glued the frame together, then sanded and painted.
I used heat set threaded inserts in the stand-offs to match the screws in the skylight hinge.
Screen material and spline are at any hardware store.
You'll need to play around to make it fit your own van. Hopefully this is a good start.
