STL files to convert the Skyhunter into a more efficient twin-tractor. I call it the "Hellcat" or Twinhunter.
Single motor efficiency measured at 3.8 wh/km
Twin motor efficiency measured at 2.5 wh/km (using the same motor and prop but 2 of them, and heavier AUW by ~600g)
The added efficiency most likely comes from the more aerodynamic fuselage-end and less disk area blockage on the prop. The payload capacity and overall AUW can also be significantly increased with the twin motor conversion, making hand launch a breeze. It also eliminates the risk of a prop strike during launch and torque roll.
Print the nacelle 2 wall 10% cubic sub infill with LWPLA
Print the motor mounts 3 wall and 10% infill with PETG or other high temp material
Print the tail cap pieces single wall 3.5% cubic sub infill with LWPLA
tail_cap1 glues on to the back of the fuselage and needs m3 inserts in order to allow tail_cap2 to screw into it.
Happy skyhunting
