The file 'Sky-Watcher 6×30 Finder Guide Camera M42 Adapter 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 1.7MB.
An adapter for the 6x30 Sky-Watcher finderscope supplied with many telescopes, allowing it to be screwed into a camera and thus turning it into a makeshift guidescope. This adapter has an M42x0,75 thread on one end and an M29,6x0,75 thread on the other.
To use this adapter, unscrew the eyepiece and thread the adapter in the tube of the finder, with a camera on the other end.
The focal length of my system is 123 mm.
You can focus by loosening the ring around the "dew shield" of the finder (the dew shield also carries the objective lens) and simply turning the dew shield until you reach focus.
Also make sure to remove any stringing in the tube of the adapter that may come from printing with PETG, it will cause slight diffraction if you don't.
