The portion of the “Threads” object that fits inside the “Skull Bulb” is designed to accept a G4 socket with a 12VDC Feit Electric LED Desk Light Bulb. The inner diameter of the socket seat is 18mm, so it will easily accept a range of low temperature LED lights. Strings of LEDs work well too.

Be sure to use low-temperature LEDs and pay close attention on first usage to ensure that any heat is not affecting the plastic. If heat is a concern, I recommend the “Skull Bulb Voronoi” design as it allows for more air circulation.

The outer threads of the bulb will fit into a standard E-26 light bulb base. If you do choose display or use this bulb in a standard socket, be sure that the 120VAC power has been disconnected!
