Summary

A simple bowl to use as functional container or a decoration object, in kitchen, bathroom or living room.
You can use the filament you want to, just change the printing settings according to it; my setting are really calibrated on the material I used, so use them only if you are going to use the same filament.
I'm printing on an heavly modified Anet A8, so the results will not be the same on the default machine.

I used a wooden pla from Sunlu (low-temp wood), this are my printing settings:

  • Layer height = 0.2 mm
  • Infill density = 10%
  • Infill pattern = Gyroid
  • Printing temperature = 190 c
  • Build plate temp: 70 c
  • Print speed: 60 mm/s
  • Regular fan speed: 60%
  • Regular fan speed at layer; 3
  • Built plate adhesion type: skirt
  • Skirt line count: 4
  • Skirt distance: 3 mm

Printing time with this settings and default size : 6h 31m

Supports are not necessary but I printed them to be on the safe side:

  • Support placement: everywhere
  • Support overhang angle: 50
  • Support pattern: Concentric
  • Support density: 15%
  • Support brim enabled

However I don't recommend to use supports, as they will be generated in a small area around the bowl's base and ruins the overall smooth look (on the bottom part so not so visible at all).
