Wanted something VERY simple to hold a PVC rod loaded with filament. Two of these brackets held 6 rolls of filament without an issue, the buffer rings I place in between the spools so the little filament clips on the spool next to the one currently printing stays in place. The spools spin without issue being fed directly into the printer below. It's printed in normal pla+
I'm using a PVC pipe with an outer diameter of 42mm, and the back of the spools don't touch the wall. Tried to keep friction to a minimal.
Pictures are a bit old, but I've printed 4 of these brackets to use on the same PVC rod and it's easily holding 13 rolls of filament right now.
My first fusion360 thing that has actually worked out pretty well.
