SIMPLE & EASY ... repair it, ride it !!!

This is my attempt for a simple and easy to build bike repair stand. It covers most of the needs of an assembly stand. So it will give you all you need to maintain and repair your bike and it will be ready to get outside and ride it.

Priciple

The bike will be attached at the stand (a simple sawhorse) with the printed fork and tail mounts.

For each mount there are two different versions V1 and V2. These versions for the front or back can be mixed. I recommend to use the versions you like most.

Bike FRONT holder

The fork will be attached with its through axle, so make sure your bike has one!

• V1: This Version has two holes which fits 15mm and 12mm axles.
• V2: Universal mount for all diameters of axles

Bike BACK holder

• V1: Fits the shape of the bottom bracket ball bearing housing (the distance between front and back holder must be perfectly set). The desing can be mounted left or right.
• V2: Universal mount (no need of exact setting up the distance, as long the bearing housing sits onto the holder). Note there are separate parts for the left and right side!

ENABLE Printer accerleration

I printed the mounts with a layer height of 0.3mm so the print does't take too long, only to save some time. Printing it with 0.2mm layer height will be good as well.

Hey I have no 3D printer

Well no problem I also attached are the digital drawings in case you want to build the mounts out of wood. The scaling is in 1:1 so you can copy it like in preschool.

I did this and the result is also very satisfying. For that I recommend to use the V2 versions, as it is easier to build.

What SAWHORSE???

Well buy it (is affordable) or build it (I attached my drawing of a foldable sawhorse)!
