A simple armed freighter (self-designated Feisty-class). This was an experiment in using casemated cannons (instead of turrets), of which this ship has four casemates in the forward superstructure for self defense. There is also a conversion kit to turn it into an escort carrier.

Just print out the Ship stl/step and 4 copies of the CasemateCannon stl/step files. They should just snap onto the cylindrical mounts and rotate freely.

If you want to convert it to an escort carrier, just print out the EscortCarrierConversionKit stl/step file. It should just fit right over the cargo hold. The yellow planes in the pictures are from https://www.printables.com/model/319852-simple-jet-plane and printed to 15% scale.

The Feisty's four casemated cannon mounts (with 57mm and 76mm cannons being the most common combinations) allow it to protect its cargo against hostile small craft and boat swarms while transiting problematic or low intensity conflict zones.

The Feisty-class has proven to be a versatile design, and a conversion kit has been made available that turns the armed freighter into an escort carrier. Though less capable than a purpose-built aircraft carrier, the kit has proven popular among smaller navies who are looking to add some limited maritime air power to their capabilities.
