Hey Guys,
Here is my contribution to the sim racing community. I designed roof roll cage fittings that are meant to be joined using schedule 40, 1 inch, PVC tubing and self supported by hooks that hang from your monitors. The fitting hooks can accommodate monitors an inch in thickness at the top of the monitor.
The design was done in inches (I'm an aviation engineer so all my software is in inches). To do this either scale proportionally by 2540% or change the settings in your slicer. It is recommended to print these hook facing upwards such that any support material will be on top of the rig, not in view of the driver.
This design is for a 127/53 degree monitor angle with plans to add additional more common angles as i receive user feedback.
