The file 'Shopping Bag Carrier 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 402.4KB.
Random shopping/plastic bag carrier that I designed for a friends 'entrepreneurship' business course involving introducing new products into the market. It actually worked, so if you need a strong handle thats comfy and easy to use, give it a go! Easy print, and with a 50%+ infill is strong enough to carry 4-5 filled shopping bags (prob. up to 5-6kg). Thought i'd upload it on the off chance someone needs a shopping bag handle.
UPDATE FEB 2018: Ok so if it's not totally obvious already you need to print this part laying flat on the bed. If you print it standing up and it requires ANY support material at all, you have placed it incorrectly. If you are not a regular CAD user, than let me inform you that sometimes different CAD software will have different orientations, eg. Solidworks parts will import into simplify 3D with a different orientation to how it was modelled. Therefore sometimes you will need to rotate the part so it is better for 3D printing. Think about the stresses and strains of the part and how the print grain will affect these issues.
