The file 'Shiplap Guide – Align Cladding On Your Shed 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 107.8KB.
This is a handy guide for fitting ship-lapped style boards to the outside of a shed or a fence.
This is for 19 x 150mm boards, the jig gives a 30mm overlap for weathering and fixing.
Align the first board at the base of the project, make sure it is level, use this jig to apply the next board quickly and with consistent spacing.
Check with a spirit level every few boards.
The tapered holes are there for one person working. Stitch a screw in the hole to hold the end of the board in place while you fix the other end. This method is not ideal but gives you an option if you are Johnny no-mates!
