Summary

The Shimano XT M-8000 and XTR M-9000 disk brakes have the option to run i-Spec II direct-mount shifters, so there's extra space built into the brake lever clamp for these. If you don't run direct-mount shifters, then you need a spacer to fill this gap. The brakes come with this spacer (the black one in the photos) but if the brakes came on your bike with the shifter and you didn't get the spacer, or you lost the spacer, you might need a replacement. This fills the bill.

There are two STLs available, one with the locating peg and one without the locating peg. Either one will work just fine, it's your choice. The one without the peg can likely print just fine without supports, although I printed both with supports.

I've also included the Fusion 360 original model if you think changes are needed - if you make changes, please make a remix and link to this one!

Please post your makes if you find this useful!

A logical extension of this part is to duplicate the Problem Solverse MisMatch 1.2 adapter. If you need MisMatch adapters, others have already modeled the MisMatch 1.0 and MisMatch 2.0 adapters. I've got to admit, though, mixing SRAM brakes with anything seems like a bad idea to me, I've never met a set that I liked and lasted any amount of time!
