This is a shielded stop switch for the Monoprice Maker Select, Wanhao Duplicator i3 and some other printers. I made this so I can quickly stop a print if needed, but won't risk doing it unintended. For the hinge use a piece of 1.75mm filament. I used 3M double stick tape to attach mine, seems to be sticking well. The push-pin/button just floats i the hole, without attaching it.
Update: Improved button greatly, and cover stays open once lifted.
Update 10/2/17: Added base&cover with built in hinge, so their is no assembly! (print without supports and with base laying flat).
I got the idea for this project from FingerChili's PANIC button: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1686294
