The merino sheep skull came from my sister's farm, high in the mountains of New Zealand's South Island. It was captured using Adobe's 123D Catch and then fixed up with Blender and Adobe Meshmixer (although I think the final versions didn't end up using Meshmixer). The high-poly version is hard to work with and is overkill for most conventional thermal extrusion printers at the current scale. The low-poly version is large enough and looks good printed at high resolution on a Makerbot 2x or Flashforge X printer.
