This is an Ender 3 mount to work with the Sharpie Colour Blender made by Devin Montes/Make Anything. This is just a remix of his design, all credit goes to him. Here is the link to his download page where you need to download "blender-6color.stl" or "blender-3color.stl" to put in this mount https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-138353 . Also check out his great Youtube video about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQwkHDDed0o&t . I made this as I didn't see any mounts for the top of the Ender 3 that line up with the standard filament holder, and it seems a few people are asking for it. Turtle I printed as example https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2238443 made white filament and green Sharpies.
File Explanation:
There is 2 STLs and 2 gcodes. One design (Open Support.stl) has just a couple beams cross the angle(print with support), and the other has a solid triangle(Solid Support.stl). The 2 gcodes are sliced for an Ender 3, as I assume many that print this will be using the Ender 3. If you print the Open Support gcode, the support piece is under the horizontal part and can be easily popped out after printing. Also I print them all with the small end down as this seems to be how the originals were made, and if you do it this way slicing the STLs yourself, I recommend a brim to help it stick.
Parts:
Locking Nuts - M4x10x6
Screws - M4x10
(Positioning in last photo)
Potential Problem:
While printing the marker holder does seem to flex down a bit because of the friction, but all seems fine so far.
