Summary

This is a set of attachments I made for my Shark Rocket Corded (HV302) vacuum cleaner. I added 4 vent holes since necking down the vacuum causes it to struggle. These help to relieve some of the strain on the vacuum whilst still providing plenty of power to suck the chaff. Even the thin tube is good at getting the chaff.

Slow the printer down for the thin tube section to that layers adhere and it doesn't turn into a mess since the circles the printer is doing are so small.

You could also print these laying down to help prevent them from breaking if they are dropped. That would especially give the thin tube some additional strength however you would need some external supports in that case.

If I did another design, I would add a larger tube with a short 90 degree bend at the end maybe 2in in length for better cleaning of the chaff bucket without having to move the vacuum around. A longer big tube with a 90 degree opening and no length would be great for cleaning chaff off of the filter as well.

They can surely be scaled up and modified to fit your vacuum cleaner as well.

dimensions for the fitted area are:

34mm inner diameter

4mm wall thickness

42mm outer diameter

They were made using tinkercad.

100% infill printed using PETG for better handling of the roaster heat.

Nylon or ABS would be most ideal, but PETG is very easy to print.

Both designs can be printed upright without any supports and I used a small raft just as an extra safety measure.
