Summary

These are LED mounts for Painless360's servo gimbal:

I used this gimbal on my tracked FPV rover. Since it gets driven in tight/dark areas often, I needed some decent lights for the FPV camera. So I designed this set of gimbal LED mounts in Fusion360. They bolt to the camera mount part using M3 bolts in the existing holes of Painless360's design. The "-lightMount" file is meant for a 3x4 white LED array that provides flood lighting. You can purchase similar 12VDC led arrays on Amazon:

The "-spotMountR/L" files fit the 15mm diameter panel mount LED headlights that came with my YP100 tank chassis. You can get identical panel mounts on Amazon (meant to fit 10mm LEDs):

No supports are required to print any of these files. I printed mine in PETG using 0.3mm layer thickness, and otherwise standard settings.

I found the array alone is plenty enough for general driving around, especially in more compact areas. The spot lights do help when you need to see details more than 5' in front, and they help bring out more detail when inspecting things up close. With my Caddx Rattel2 camera, I didn't notice any issues with the spot lights creating any contrast issues (the periphery of the spot pattern remains very much visible). I suspect the 10mm LEDs are well suited, vs a flamethrower flashlight that might just blow out the image.

I did consider redesigning to center the LED weight closer to the pitch axis, but found that unnecessary. Several hours of field testing showed the additional torque didn't have any significant effects on the servos or video feed (this is on a rover with no suspension... lots of bumps/bangs). I'm just using standard plastic gear SG90 for pitch, and a metal gear SG90-270degree (with angle expander) for yaw (both at 5VDC).
